This is a fresh take on an often leathery grape, offering bright, snappy aromas of wild strawberry, black tea, nutmeg, and clove. The palate is zesty and refined, with notes of rosewater, rooibos tea, and candied cranberry. Drink now through 2032.
Harvested from a small block of old vines on our estate vineyard, this wine reflects the nuance of a cool vintage and a late harvest. The grapes were fermented for 15 days in stainless steel open-top tanks, then aged for 18 months in neutral barrels. Bottled unfined and unfiltered to preserve purity and texture.
2023 Koehler ‘Estate Grown’ Mourvedre- Sourced from old vines at their estate vineyard, this 2023 Mourvèdre was stored in neutral oak for 16 months prior to bottling. Totally translucent in the glass, this delivers good meaty character alongside pretty red fruits on the palate, with excellent freshness and length.
