2023 Pinot Gris
This is a fun wine to make! Our take on an orange wine, but we take it seriously. The fruit is picked based on potential alcohol, color, acidity, and flavors. A fresh, complex, unique wine that is easy to enjoy. Loads of peach and watermelon flavors with a beautiful richness from the skin contact.
Production notes
Picked the last week of September. Sorted and gently whole-berry destemmed, fermented on skins for 7 days before being pressed. Fermentation finished in stainless steel tank and aged on fine lees in stainless steel barrels for 6 months prior to bottling.

A great example of why Pinot Gris does better on its skins. A darker pink-orange in the glass, this bottling begins with aromas of crushed plum, dusty earth and rosewater. The palate sizzles with acidity and benefits from a chalky texture, as bright flavors of raspberry and orange peel make for a fun sip. — Matt Kettmann
A skin contact wine, the 2023 Pinot Gris shows off nutty tones on the nose alongside orange blossom, and delicate red fruits. The palate is juicy and beautifully textured, as this has impressive weight and saltily accents. A joy to consume now, enjoy over the next six to eight years. Drink 2024-2030 92 points —Owen Bargreen
