2021 Riesling
All the fruit for this wine came from the 5-acre block of Riesling in our Casa Blanca Vineyard. This block represents some of the oldest Riesling in Santa Barbara County. The mild growing season in 2021 resulted in fresh acidity and concentrated flavors.
A 50/50 blend of stainless steel and barrel fermented dry Riesling, it is light golden in color with a soft and luscious, but mineral body. Lively aromatics of meyer lemon and petrol this grape is known for, and on the palate notes of pineapple, citrus, and honey.

Waxy lemon peel, lime juice and pear-skin aromas make for a compellingly sour nose on this bottling. The textural grip of the palate is pleasantly intriguing, and then bright citrus peel and petrol flavors arise, with dried apple on the finish. — Matt Kettmann
