Peake Ranch, Sta. Rita Hills
This Grenache comes from Peake Ranch on the eastern edge of Sta. Rita Hills. The cool climate yields fruit that ripens slower with optimal flavors and acid. This allows us to utilize 30% whole cluster fermentation to retain some stem tannins which add depth and complexity to this bottling.
2023 Koehler ‘Peake Ranch’ Grenache- The 2023 Koehler ‘Peake Ranch’ Grenache shows off pretty potpourri tones on the nose with Mandarin orange rind, pomegranate seed and tobacco leaf accents. The palate shows nice finesse and a soft texture on the mouth, brimming with bright and sweet red fruits. Drink 2026-2032- 92 Owen Bargreen
