This Grenache comes from Peake Ranch on the eastern edge of Sta. Rita Hills. The cool climate yields fruit that ripens slower with optimal flavors and acid. This allows us to utilize 30% whole cluster fermentation to retain some stem tannins which add depth and complexity to this bottling.

Strawberry, cherry, cinnamon and mace aromas flow together into a cohesive whole on the nose of this bottling. The super lively palate is laced in strawberry, fruit punch and more cinnamon flavors. — Matt Kettmann
This 2022 Grenache comes from the Peake Ranch in the Santa Rita Hills AVA. This comes off very pretty with a gorgeous core of red fruits that mingle well with orange peel, stony soils and shades of fresh sage.
