Santa Ynez Valley
Before the vineyards, Santa Barbara County was ranching country. Rancho Rojo pays tribute to that heritage and the vaquero culture that helped shape the region, leaving a lasting mark on its landscape, traditions, and way of life. Crafted for the table after a day's work, this wine is meant for everyday enjoyment: light, chillable, and showcasing freshness and purity of fruit.
Harvested early to preserve natural acidity and vibrant aromatics, the fruit was co-fermented and left on the skins for six days before completing fermentation in barrel. This gentle approach minimizes extraction, highlighting bright red fruit, lift and balance. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, Rancho Rojo retains its natural texture, energy, and honest character.
