There's a lot of excitement around the potential for this Spanish grape on the Central Coast. This bottling begins with sultry aromas of berry, thyme, anise and wet rock on the nose. The palate is awash in roasted fennel, toasted herb and baked black-plum flavors. — Matt Kettmann
A truly unique wine, the 2022 Koehler Mencia was stored for 16 months in neutral oak before bottling.
